Jolly Breakfast Ring

Lisa's first Home Ec class recipe!
PREP TIME: 30 minutes
SERVES: 8
TOTAL COOKING TIME: 30 minutes
INGREDIENTS
  • 1 loaf french bread, sliced thin
  • 16 oz bruschetta
  • 1/2 cup parmesean shredded cheese
DIRECTIONS
  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • Melt butter. Put 2 tbsp melted butter in bottom of 9-inch cake pan. Sprinkle 2 tbsp brown sugar, place 12 cherries and 1/4 cup chopped nuts.
  • In small bowl mix 1/2 cup sugar, 1 tsp cinnamon and 3 tbsp chopped nuts.
  • In second bowl put 2 cups Bisquick. With fork, stir in 2/3 cup milk and beat 15 strokes.
  • Shape dough into 12 balls. Roll each ball in melted butter and cinnamon mixture.
  • Place in pan and bake 30 minutes.
